Load up the family or fly solo and don't pass up your last chance to experience a booming region of the United States and understand first hand the incredible investment opportunity that will slip away as of January 1, 2012.
December 16th through the 24th brings affordable family holiday fun to Biloxi at the Beau Rivage Casino shopping promenade. Santa will be available for free pictures with the kids and afterward the youngsters can eat for free at the Beau Rivage Buffet. Each day, Beau Rivage will also offer discounts at different shops like Scoops Ice Cream, offering treats for the whole family.
Gulfport will celebrate the holidays on December 16th with the Grand Christmas Gala at the Gulfport Galleria. The whole family can experience the vast artistic talent of the Gulf Coast GO Zone from 6 to 8:30 P.M. This event offers not only great collections of art with a local flavor but also the artists themselves giving live demonstrations, book signings and, of course, holiday shopping for the art lover in your family.
Next stop by Ocean Springs on December 18th for Christmas is a Feeling at 2 P.M. local time. The Walter Anderson Players will perform at the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center in this GO Zone town. Those wishing to experience the Christmas choir need only bring one non-perishable food item to donate to a local food kitchen this holiday season.
Bay St. Louis offers some holiday backdrop for the photographer in any of us. The 5th Annual Snowflakes in the Bay features oak trees decorated with lighted snowflakes to get locals and tourists in the holiday spirit and runs through December 31st. In addition to lighting up the Gulf Coast GO Zone after dark, the area features a pond, walking paths and sculptures by local artists.
Biloxi, Gulfport, Ocean Springs and Bay St. Louis are a few of the Gulf Coast areas still offering properties qualifying under the GO Zone Act. So head for warmer climates and enjoy each of these and other holiday events, finish up your gift shopping with the unique wares found in the GO Zone and take some time to learn about the incredible investment opportunities remaining in this area.
The GO Zone Act was passed by Congress following the devastation brought on by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Nearly six years later, the GO Zone continues to rebuild and recover from one of the nation's worst natural disasters, though much success has been achieved since the Act was first introduced. The GO Zone Act offered investors tax incentives like 50% bonus depreciation for assisting in the revitalization of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and other areas hit hardest by Katrina. While time is running out, some opportunities to take advantage of the GO Zone Act still exist. For more information on the Act and the GO Zone properties available, contact Hanover Companies today!
