The purpose of The GO Zone Act is to help revitalize and stabilize regions of the U.S. that were affected by hurricanes Rita, Katrina, and Wilma. As part of this effort, The GO Zone Act allows qualified real estate investors to take a 50% bonus depreciation incentive upon the purchase of qualified GO Zone property.
